About Salad Rush
Salad Rush–The Gold Standard™ is a new concept in fresh, local, nutritious fast food. We combine urban vertical farming, quality products and pride to produce the best salads and wraps you can find. In addition, our business plan emphasizes local ownership that keeps money circulating in your own community. Healthy Fast Food
Many of our ingredients are grown by selected hydroponic or organic gardeners, such as Evergarden Farms™ . Others are sourced as locally as possible while maintaining a focus on freshness, flavor and quality.
Our Organization
Our Healthy Fast Food business plan offers three types of opportunities for local entrepreneurs: Owner-operated salad shops, hydroponic gardens and catering. We also offer training programs in food technology, gardening and management of related businesses. We've been developing these concepts since 2012.
Salad Rush™ is affiliated with Sustainable Urban Living Institute (SULIUS) in the USA, which promotes healthy eating among other interests. Each salad shop, garden or catering operation is a shareholder in SULIUS and contriubutes from product sales of its trademarked Sulius Caesar™ salad. We also work with non-profit organizations in cooperation with Garden of Eden Urban Farming. We participate in the larger community through a collaborative growing and marketing program. Salad Rush shops and caterers are independently owned and operated, using in large part Evergarden Farm™ brand vegetables provided by in cooperation with SULIUS and its affiliates, and may also operate their own hydroponic gardens either by growing on site or by sharing space with other operators. Why Salad Rush?
Salad Rush started in Seattle, the "jumping off place" of the 1998 Alaska Gold Rush. Modern life is enriched more by healthy lifestyles than by gold, so we've adopted the rush theme to honor our history while we reflect our times. Why not jump off into a delicious salad today?
